For my Raggedies, I use the finest quality wool yarns.
Pastaza....Imported from Peru and distributed by Cascade Yarns, it is 50% Llama & 50% Lambs wool. It is the softest wool yarn I have found.
EXCEPTIONS: I have found that for "hand-looped" hair, this soft wool is not appropriate.
For this hair style I use a high quality Acrylic yarn .
Also, my Luscious " Cherry Red " , "Auburn-Brown" and "Black" colors are not available in the Pastaza yarns, and I use Acrylic yarn for these colors.

I offer two hair styles for my Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls.
The "wig" style is most like the manufactured style hair, and the "hand-looped" is like the "traditional" handmade styles from years gone by.
